TLR Contributor and Editor Honored in Contests

Katie Bickell, whose short story “But For the Streetlamps and the Moon and All the Stars” appeared in issue 1, has won first place in the Alberta Views 2014 Fiction Contest for her story, “Northside Delacroix.” Both stories are from a collection she is currently working on. The contest judge was Marina Endicott, Giller Prize finalist for Good to a Fault. “Northside Delacroix” will be published by Alberta Views in December.

TLR publisher and fiction editor Joe Ponepinto received an Honorable Mention in the Stoneslide Corrective 2014 Fiction Contest for his story “How to Live at a Hotel.” The story will be published by Stoneslide in 2015.
