The Writers' Guild of Alberta was formed in 1980 to provide a meeting ground and collective voice for all the writers of the province. Their members write in every genre and at every level of expertise. This year, a generous donation from one of their members has allowed us to award a special one-time prize for a writer between eighteen and thirty years of age.
