William Woolfitt’s "What the Beech Tree Knows" is a Best Small Fictions Winner

Congratulations to William Woolfitt, whose “What the Beech Tree Knows,” first published in Tahoma Literary Review, has been named one of 55 winners in Braddock Avenue Books’ 2017 Best Small Fictions competition. 

The final judge for this year’s competition was Amy Hempel. The anthology collecting all 55 winners will be launched in September of this year.

TLR contributors Anne Elizabeth Weisgerber and Stephanie Dickinson were also finalists for their work in other publications.
